Where did your passion for horses begin?

My love of horses started as a baby when I would sit on the pommel of my father’s 17.2 hand horse and go on hacks with him over the South Downs, I then moved onto gymkhanas and show jumping.   My biggest love was with Polo which came from a great friend of mine. I started as a groom in Gloucestershire spending amazing days at Cirencester Park, moving to Windsor Great Park and then to the sunny climate of Palm Beach, residing back in Sussex playing at Knepp Castle and Hurtwood.

What about now?

Nowadays, I’m still very much living and breathing horses but through my two boys as their full time groom!  They are actively involved  in the pony club with their ponies Jack and Babe and we spend most weekends hacking over the South Downs.  When I’m not at work, you can find me amongst the stables and paddocks at my home in West Sussex.

What is your role at Hamptons?

My journey started at Hamptons 17 years ago, running the Clapham office. After many happy years there I moved back down to Sussex, where I grew up, to raise my young family so they could enjoy the space and sporting opportunities in the area along with a quiet hope of also being able to get back into horse riding one day.

For the past eight years I have worked within the Prime by Hamptons team, selling properties within East and West Sussex.   I specialise in all things country and by the sea whether it be a country manor or a seafront property I have the connections and database to find a buyer for all.

What is your experience with equestrian property?

“I have been an estate agent for just over 20 years and within this time I have sold and viewed equestrian homes in many counties. The key three areas have been Sussex, Surrey and Gloucestershire, each providing a different offering to buyers whether this be competition yards, polo yards or smaller set ups similar to mine where you have enough room for a couple of ponies to just have some fun with. The clients I have met along the way have provided me with further insight and knowledge on top of what I already had to now furnish me with all of the tools and contacts required for me to offer a knowledgeable and professional service to all of our clients.”

Thinking of selling?

Our role is pretty simple really. We find you the right buyer at the best price, with a timeline that suits you. The marketing strategy we come up with will be designed specifically for your property...and you. It might mean a traditional launch, an open house, or an off-market arrangement.
