Going out
For entertainment there is an Everyman Cinema and the Hampstead Theatre, with a full roster of shows and events. There are also an array of museums and galleries from the Freud Museum, the final residence of the father of psychoanalysis, to Keats House, former home of the renowned poet. Kenwood House is also a local hotspot worth a visit.
Green space
The area is best known for the vast and varied landscape of Hampstead Heath, a 790-acre Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation encompassing wild heathland, ancient woods, pretty meadows, open-air swimming ponds and a range of family friendly facilities. Residents can also take a trip south to Primrose Hill which has some of the best panoramic views of the London skyline taking in St Paul’s Cathedral, the Shard and the neighbouring Regent’s Park.
