Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Portfolio Property Manager to join our Residential Portfolio Management team.

Responsibilities:

  • To manage and oversee all routine repairs and maintenance for a select portfolio of managed clients, adhering to strict service levels to ensure that properties are managed in accordance with client requirements.
  • Working closely alongside the Portfolio Client Managers to protect our clients’ assets by recommending works to maintain and add value
  • To provide an excellent standard of customer service and build and manage the relationship with tenants
  • Ensure safety compliance and housing legislation is adhered to at all times
  • Carrying out occasional property visits where necessary
  • Liaising with local branches on a national scale, both within and outside of the Hamptons network, to help coordinate pre-tenancy works and routine maintenance as required
  • Build and manage a strong relationship with all contractors across the network and nationwide to ensure service level agreements are met, and to ensure all contractor invoices and utilities are paid promptly
  • Preparation of reports to Portfolio Client Managers on a monthly/quarterly basis, as required, to reflect maintenance and compliance issues and recommendations.
  • Training and management of new Portfolio Property Managers when required

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Experience gained within residential property management
  • You will be highly motivated and able to demonstrate success within the lettings market
  • You will be qualified to ARLA /NFOPP Legal Advanced Level or Equivalent
  • Able to demonstrate first class customer service skills
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time management skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work proactively and comfortable / excited at using your initiative in a fast paced environment where priorities can change regularly
