Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Property Inspection Clerk to join our Property Management Compliance team - covering London.

The Property Inspection Clerk will be responsible for reviewing properties throughout our London Fully Managed Portfolios and liaising with the Property Management teams. Ideally your vehicle will be ULEZ compliant. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To inspect properties accurately reporting on the general condition of the property
  • Identify areas of maintenance, both urgent and routine
  • Recommending proactive property improvements
  • Where required liaise with tenants for access / attendance to the property
  • Remind tenants of their obligations during their tenancy
  • Raise any areas of concerns including access issues with the relevant Property Manager
  • Achieve the objectives and targets set by your Line Manager on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Ensure that all customers receive a professional service Deal with and resolve initial client complaints
  • Promote other Hamptons Services where appropriate
  • Proactively develop strong relationships with lettings branches, Property Managers & Tenants
  • Ensure internal controls and procedures are adhered to as per ARLA guidelines and legal compliance
  • Complete visit reports using our bespoke app 

 

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of property maintenance, and "how a house works"
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent IT skills with intermediate Microsoft Office ability
  • Previous experience in estate agency in a similar position or administration role is preferred
  • 1 years Lettings industry experience is required, Lettings Property Management experience is preferable
  • A full driving licence is essential.
