About this branch

Teddington is a fashionable and affluent town on the banks of the River Thames near Teddington lock. It has excellent schooling, great restaurants and boutique shops.

The Area

Teddington is one of the most popular towns in the Richmond Borough, sitting in its own little corner of South West London. Situated very close to the River Thames and incorporating Bushy Park's open green spaces and smaller plantations, Teddington has a social, amiable and family-friendly atmosphere.

Alongside the very popular primary and secondary schools such as Collis Primary and Teddington Comprehensive, the area provides extensive local amenities and brilliant facilities; Teddington Pools and Fitness and Teddington Memorial Hospital to name just a few.

The main centre of town has a thriving high street with cafés, restaurants and bistros, as well as a number of pubs and bars; The Teddington Arms and the Clock House are two of popular choice. Allied to this is a great array of shopping choice, made up mainly of smaller boutiques and local businesses but also providing the generic high street brands such as Marks and Spencer and Boots Pharmacy. Kingston is also only a short distance away (bus, train or car) and the town provides extensive shopping/eateries/entertainment facilities.

Teddington also has a good selection of public transport with the mainline station only 35 minutes journey from Waterloo. Teddington is a short bus journey from Richmond station which has the London Underground and North London links. There are also countless bus services running through Teddington to many destinations, two of which run directly to Heathrow.
