About this branch

The Area

Esher is a historic town located around 14 miles from Charing Cross. Surrounded by green space, parks and commons, Esher is a firm favourite with those working in the London area because it offers a place to relax and take stock of life after a busy day at work. Esher has a lot of charm and it's steeped in history - its close proximity to London means that access to top attractions, shopping and restaurants in the city itself are no more than a short train journey away.

Throughout the year events are held at the Sandown Park racecourse - one of the famous locations on the UK horse racing circuit. There are other attractions in Esher too, including the Esher Commons - a vast space of over 350 hectares. On Esher Commons, you'll find plenty of ponds and woodland - the perfect place for a walk on a blustery weekend afternoon, but also the perfect place for a relaxing picnic in the warm summer months.

Esher is also famous for playing host to the Claremont Landscape Garden - developed by the likes of William Kent and Sir John Vanbrugh. It's a sight to behold and widely regarded as being one of the best English landscape gardens in existence. Garsons Farm is also a great place to spend the day.

Esher is conveniently located and it features all the amenities you'd expect from any self-respecting town. The fact Esher is just a short hop from central London only adds to the desirability of lettings in Esher.
