Hamptons Aims to Inspire at the Capital’s Biggest Careers Event, the London Job Show

Hamptons recently took part in the London Job Show - the capital's largest careers event - held at Westfield, Shepherd's Bush on 17-18th October 2025. The London Job Show brought together thousands of employers from a wide variety of industries and saw approximately 10,000 - 20,000 attendees each day who were interested in exploring the large number of employment and training opportunities available on the day. The event targeted people of all ages with opportunities for all career stages, from entry-level roles, graduate schemes, and apprenticeships to senior leadership.

Recently shortlisted for the Employer of the Year Award at this year’s Negotiator Awards, Hamptons used the event as a platform to spotlight the breadth of career opportunities within the property industry and its commitment to nurturing talent. Designed to inspire, the Hamptons stand unveiled the company’s new recruitment campaign, aimed at attracting passionate individuals eager to build a career in property. The stand proved popular with visitors – a mix of Hamptons employees - from sales, lettings, build to rent, and new homes, as well as head office roles - were on hand to answer questions about current vacancies and career development pathways across the business.

Alongside the stand activity, Hamptons were guest speakers at two seminars. Hamptons’ Head of Sales, Mary Beeton took to the stage on Friday 17th October, followed by Emma Johnson, Associate Director at Hamptons in Tunbridge Wells Lettings, on Saturday 18th October. Over the two sessions, both speakers explored the prospects of a career in property and highlighted the variety of roles available at Hamptons, opportunities for progression, and the qualities that make a successful estate agency professional.

Mary Beeton, Executive Head of Sales at Hamptons says: “Attending the London Job Show was a fantastic opportunity to raise awareness of Hamptons as one of the leading employers in the property sector. It allowed us to showcase our inclusive culture, expert teams, and the clear progression pathways we offer, and we couldn’t be happier with the high levels of interest and positive feedback we received from visitors. With many direct applicant registrations already underway, Hamptons continues to position itself as an employer of choice in the industry and we are proud to have connected with so many talented individuals who share our passion for property.”

Lisa Wooldridge, HR Director at Hamptons: “We recognise that attracting top talent requires fresh thinking and a proactive approach. That’s why we took our recent recruitment campaign directly to those exploring new career opportunities – to showcase our meaningful career pathways and to demonstrate that we really care about creating a culture where people can thrive. It was also a real timely pleasure to share during the seminars that Hamptons has been shortlisted for Employer of the Year by The Negotiator – a proud moment for the business that reinforces our commitment to being a leading employer, not only within our industry, but across all sectors.”
