Crouch End has two excellent cinemas to choose from, the Crouch End Picturehouse and ArtHouse, offering the best of independent film, the latest blockbusters and everything in between.
Green space
Much of Crouch End’s village character comes from its abundance of greenery, from the sweeping lawns of Priory Park and the Crouch End Playing Fields to the ancient woodland of Queen’s Wood and Highgate Wood. To the north is the vast expanse of Alexandra Park, home to the historic events venue of Alexandra Palace as well as an ice rink, boating lake, rose garden and Go Ape aerial adventure trail, while to the south is the Parkland Walk nature reserve which provides pedestrians and cyclists alike with a pleasant meandering route from Highgate to the lush open space of Finsbury Park.
