Situation
Goring on Thames is an attractive Oxfordshire village positioned between the Chilterns and the Berkshire Downs on the East bank of the River Thames. This stretch of the river is known as the Goring Gap and the surrounding countryside is a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village provides a good range of shops for day to day needs. Goring Station provides a Main Line service to London Paddington in under an hour, via Reading which will have Cross rail in approximately 2019.
