Additional Information
Sydney Place in the Bathwick area of Bath was built around 1800. Many of the properties are listed buildings.
Originally known as New Sydney Place, this was among the most prestigious of all Late Georgian developments in Bath.
The terrace from numbers 93 to 103 were designed by John Pinch the elder in 1808 and are grade I listed. Queen Charlotte lived at number 93 in 1817, and William IV lived at number 103. It marked the completion by John Pinch of Baldwin's design for the Sydney Place development after financial delays in the 1790s and forms a key part of one of the most impressive of all Neo-classical urban set-pieces in Britain.
