Multiple Competitions may be run at sponsored events taking place between 1 April 2026 and 30 September 2026. Each Competition will have its own opening and closing dates and times, which will be communicated at the relevant event. Entries submitted outsid opening and closing dates and times for that Competition will not be accepted.
Entry into the Competition is open to eligible entrants only. An eligible entrant is one who is aged 18 years or over excluding employees of the Promoter and any persons who are connected in any way to this Competition (“Eligible Entrant”). Proof of age and identity may be required.
Entries are made by completing all multiple-choice questions on the competition entry form, which relate to the asking price for properties which are displayed on a board within the participating Promoter’s branch or local sponsored event location (the “Entry Form”). The Competition Entry Form can be obtained from the Promoter’s representatives.
You will be required to provide your name, email address and telephone number on the Entry Form (“Contact Details”).
By participating in the Competition, you give consent for your Contact Details being used for the purposes of the Competition. You will need a valid email address to enter. Once an entry has been submitted it cannot be withdrawn. Eligible Entrants can enter the Competition only once and any multiple entries will be discarded and not considered.
The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, corrupted, late or incomplete or have not been received due to any error beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
All valid and correct entries (“Eligible Entries”) received will be entered into the Competition draw whereby one winner will be drawn at random. The winner will be drawn within four working days of the relevant event at which the Competition has taken place (“Draw Date”).
The winner will win a Fortnum and Mason Hamper (the “Prize”). For full details of the Prize, or if you have any queries in relation to these Terms and Conditions, please contact the Promoter by email at [email protected]
The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email within 2 working days of the Draw Date, and the winner will need to respond confirming their acceptance of the Prize.
If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the Prize within 7 days of the notification in accordance with paragraph 10, he or she will forfeit the Prize and another winner will be selected from the remaining Eligible Entries in accordance with the above process until a winner is selected and can be contacted.
The Promoter will endeavour to send the Prize to the winner within 14 working days of the closing date of the Competition. The Prize will be sent by post or hand delivered and the Promoter accepts no liability for any lost or delayed Prizes.
Promoter does not accept any responsibility if the winner is not able to take up the Prize for any reason, and no alternative will be offered.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to amend or withdraw the Competition at any time without notice. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these terms and conditions.
The Prize is not transferable and not exchangeable for cash or any other prize and if the Prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
The Promoter gives no guarantee or warranty regarding the Prize. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter, and its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or any other person or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up a Prize, except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails [email protected] or writes to 5th Floor, 6 Ramillies Street, London, W1F 7TY (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Draw Date. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact [email protected]. In such circumstances, the Promoter is still required to provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
The Promoter will process your contact details in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, which can be accessed at Hamptons Privacy Policy.
By entering the Competition, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize in the event of any fraud, dishonesty, breach of these Terms and Conditions or non-entitlement by you, and may seek to recover the value of the Prize from you if the Prize has already been awarded.
The Promoter’s decision on the Competition shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
In the event of a conflict or contradiction between these Terms and Conditions and any promotional material, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the Courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
