Terms and Conditions for the Hamptons Market Appraisal Survey Prize Draw
1. The Hamptons Market Appraisal Survey Prize Draw (the "Competition") is offered by Hamptons, a trading name of Countrywide Estate Agents Limited, whose registered number is 00789476 and whose registered address is Cumbria House, 16-20 Hockliffe Street, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, LU7 1GN (the "Promoter").
2. Entry into the Prize Draw shall open on 19th January 2026 at 9:00 hrs (BST) ("Start Time") and will close at 23:59 hrs (BST) on 28th February 2026 ("Closing Time"). Entries received outside of these dates and times will not be valid.
3. Entry into the Competition is open to eligible entrants only. An eligible entrant is a customer who:(a) is aged 18 years or over (proof of age and identity may be required) ; (b) has had a market appraisal carried out by the Promoter on their property within the last 24 months immediately preceding the Start Time; (c) is not an employee of the Promoter; and (d) is not connected in any way to this Prize Draw together the “Eligible Entrant”.
4. The Promoter will send a Market Appraisal Customer Survey ("Survey") to Eligible Entrants by email from [email protected].
5. To be entered into the Prize Draw, Eligible Entrants must:(a) complete all required questions on the Survey"(b) provide the address of the property in which the market appraisal took place; and (c) return the completed Survey to [email protected] before the Closing Time.
6. The Prize Draw is limited to one entry per Eligible Entrant.
7. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility for entries that are lost, late or incomplete or have not been transmitted due to computer error or any other error beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control. Proof of sending is not proof of receipt.
8. All valid and correct entries received will be entered into the Prize Draw whereby one winner will be drawn at random.
9. The winner will win a Fortnum and Mason Hamper (the "Prize"). For full details of the Prize, please contact the Promoter by email at: [email protected]
10. The winner will be drawn within four working days of the Closing Time ("Draw Date"). The winner will be notified by email within two days of the Draw Date and the winners will need to respond confirming their acceptance of the Prize.
11. If a winner does not confirm acceptance of the Prize within seven days of the notification in accordance with paragraph 9, they will forfeit the Prize and another winner will be selected from the remaining eligible entries in accordance with the above process until a winner is selected and can be contacted.
12. The Prize will be sent by post or hand delivered to the winner’s address and the Promoter accepts no liability for any lost or delayed prizes.
13. The Prize is non-transferable and is not exchangeable for cash (whether in part or whole) or any other prize or offer. The cash value of each Prize is 0.00001p. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control make it necessary to do so.
14. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Prize Draw at any time without notice. For the avoidance of doubt this includes the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
15. By entering into the Prize Draw, you agree that the Promoter may use the Survey entries and data (on an anonymous basis) for any purpose and in any way it chooses, including, but not limited to, marketing, publicity, advertising and presentations.
16. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of the winner (and the winning entry if applicable). If you do not wish for these details to be published or made available, please contact [email protected]. The Promoter will always be required to provide the information (and winning entry if applicable) to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
17. The Promoter will process your personal information in accordance with the Promoter’s privacy policy, which can be accessed here.
18. By entering the Prize Draw you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse to award the Prize in the event of any fraud, dishonesty, breach of these Terms and Conditions or non-entitlement by you, and may seek to recover the value of the Prize from you if the Prize has already been awarded.
19. The Promoter’s decision on the Prize Draw shall be final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
20. In the event of a conflict or contradiction between these Terms and Conditions, any promotional material and any correspondence or any other document relating to the Prize Draw, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.
21. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
