Marketing your property

The different ways we will market your property.

Getting the best coverage for your property

1. Digital marketing

Over 90% of house movers begin their search online, so you need to choose an agent that maximises your property’s exposure to the widest possible audience.

2. Online

Our website, hamptons.co.uk, receives over 220,000 visits each month and we use the powerful property search networks of all other leading websites to showcase your property to best effect.

3. Property portals

We advertise on all the leading property websites and portals. Rightmove, Zoopla and PrimeLocation account for 22 million visits each week between them, and 61% of total online property traffic.

4. Our boards

An essential piece of marketing to alert prospective buyers or tenants to your property.

5. Our branches

Property is a people business and a local high street presence is essential for many of our customers. The location of our branches continues to generate a significant level of enquiries from buyers.

6. Email

We send targeted emails and regularly communicate with our database of over 120,000 qualified buyers and tenants.

7. Social media

There were over 38 million active social media users in the UK last year. We promote our properties on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and regularly post and share engaging property content.

8. Property alerts

We know the exact requirements of our customers so we contact them by telephone or send a property alert by text or email as soon as a property comes onto the market that matches their criteria.

9. Brochures

We produce high-quality sales brochures, with professional photography and floor plans, to ensure we present your property in the best possible light.

10. Dedicated campaigns

We run targeted marketing campaigns throughout the year to ensure potential buyers register with us and see your property.

11. Events & exhibitions

We organise and attend a number of key events throughout the year. For example, the London to Country Roadshow is a bi-annual event that enables us to showcase clients’ properties across our network.

Regular progress reviews

We carry out regular detailed reviews to identify how your sale is progressing. We provide feedback after every viewing and will call you at least once a week with market analysis and performance trends. We will also arrange to meet you again no later than six weeks after instructing us to sell, or two weeks after appointing us to let, your property to discuss progress or a new marketing strategy.

24/7: Out of hours service

We are always available for our customers - 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Whether you live in a different time zone or are more of a night owl, you can get hold of us when you want to. Even after our branches have closed for the night, we're still available at the end of the telephone or via web chat - and you won’t get a call centre response. Over 85% of the calls we receive are from people wanting to arrange a property viewing.
