Batheaston is a lovely village on the east of the city offering an abundance independent shops, several local convenience stores, local Pharmacy, Doctors & a Dental practice. There's a mix of takeaways, pubs & restaurants some of which lead to the Avon & Kennet Canal where you can stroll back into Central Bath or head towards Bradford on Avon and beyond.
Heading towards Bathampton Mill the Batheaston cycle bridge connects to the Bathampton section of the Kennet and Avon canal tow and cycle path which is within easy reach of the property. Cycling to Bath or Bradford on Avon is a lovely way to spend leisure time.
