2 Bedroom Mews House, Lyne House Rusper Road, Capel, Dorking, RH5 5HH

Property Description

A superb two bedroom mews house which has been

well looked after by the current owners and is

offered to the market in excellent decorative order,

with a recently refitted kitchen. The property is set

over two floors with the kitchen and generous sitting

room on the ground floor. On the first floor are the

two bedrooms and the modern bathroom. Externally

the property offers its own private garage and

communal parking facilities. The property also

shares the stunning communal grounds at Lyne

House.

Situation
Lyne House is situated at the end of a long private driveway, between the villages of Capel and Rusper. It is about 10 miles south of Dorking which has a comprehensive range of shopping, social, recreational and educational amenities. The property is situated within its own communal gardens and surrounded by open farmland with miles of walking.

Additional Information
Lyne House has an interesting history; James Shudi

Broadwood (1772-1851), the elder son of Thomas

Broadwood, purchased the Lyne Estate in 1799 and

built Lyne House, which was substantially enlarged

in 1860. The Broadwood family, famous for piano

and harpsichord manufacture, retained the property

until the last surviving member, Captain Evelyn

Henry Schudi Broadwood in 1975, Lyne House was

later converted to delightful apartments and cottages

set in stunning grounds approached by a long

driveway.
