Designed to make moving easier and remove some of the home moving stresses for customers, this service has sustainability and the health of our planet at the very core. Each new customer will get a carbon-absorbing Mangrove tree planted in their name and to further help and protect the planet we call home, Hamptons have chosen not to take any of the referral fees they receive from the partnership with Just Move In and instead all funds will be donated to the Marine Conservation Society, the UK’s leading charity for the protection of the planet's seas and shores. Hamptons hopes to donate a total of £20,000 in 2021/22 to this worthy cause.
Lesley Cairns, Managing Director at Hamptons: “We’re all too aware that moving house can be a stressful life event and as a business we’re always looking for ways to minimise that stress for our clients. Just Move In presents the perfect solution by sorting all the time-consuming admin and finding the best deals from utilities to council tax, storage, insurance and more. But better still, they’ll switch you onto a 100% renewable energy plan and plant a carbon-absorbing mangrove tree on your behalf. Ross Nichols, Co-Founder of Just Move In: "We’re absolutely delighted to be working with Hamptons to help improve the move experience for their customers. It’s exciting to be partnering with such a recognisable brand, but more importantly, an organisation that shares our passion for sustainability and the environment. Through our joint commitment to reducing home movers emissions and protecting natural habitats, we’ll be able to make a significant positive contribution."
Sanjay Mitra, Corporate Partnerships Manager, Marine Conservation Society: "We're thrilled to be partnering with Hamptons and welcome their support for our conservation work. Everyone relies on the ocean to survive, from the air we breathe to the food we eat. By helping people to discover, value and enjoy being connected to our seas, we can all make better decisions today, which will ensure seas full of life for future generations. I wish them all the best with a fabulous target of £20,000, which would significantly support a cleaner, litter-free coastline and more protection for our marine wildlife and precious habitats."
