Hamptons International raises over £10,000 with its ‘Relay around the Regions’ for charity partners, Cancer Research UK

Today leading estate agent Hamptons International announces it has raised over £10,000 for charity partners, Cancer Research UK, with its ‘Relay around the Regions’. The Relay was a company wide event which took place over a two week period around Hamptons International’s 95 branches, spanning London and the South of the UK.

The ‘Relay around the Regions’ began on Monday 10th October and concluded on Friday 21st October to coincide with the Cancer Research fundraising initiative, Stand Up to Cancer. Over 300 Hamptons International employees took part in the event which saw teams travel from branch to branch using various modes of transport. Teams walked, cycled, ran and roller-skated whilst others used more unusual means of transport including a horse and cart, a convoy of classic cars and there was even a dragon boat race down the Thames. In total, over 300 employees travelled a collective distance of over 1,000 kilometers in 20 different ways.

To date Hamptons International has raised £180,000 in its three year partnership with Cancer Research, UK.  Hamptons International’s next fundraising initiative will be launched later this year, which aims to introduce clients looking to declutter their home to Cancer Research’s Donation Station.
