Ten places up for grabs; Hamptons International Announces the Second Phase of ‘The Academy’ Training Programme

Leading residential estate agency Hamptons International has today announced the launch of its second intake for the Hamptons Academy. The Hamptons Academy is a market-leading training programme designed specifically for individuals wanting to embark on a career in property and provides candidates with the skills and attributes needed to succeed in the industry. A full time position in a Hamptons International branch will be provided to all successful candidates at the end of the programme.

Hamptons International is currently on the lookout for new recruits to apply with a view to begin the training programme in January 2014. Ten successful applicants will be offered a six month training programme in a dedicated Hamptons Academy office with hands on one-to-one coaching and a carefully chosen, experienced senior mentor.

Andrew Brown, Head of Human Resources at Hamptons International says: “We’re delighted to announce that the next phase of recruitment is now open with ten Academy places available for the 2014 intake.

The Hamptons Academy is designed to attract people from outside the industry with the raw talent to be great estate agents and to directly support strategic goals of the company. In the last year alone we have seen a 20 per cent rise in the number of job applications received and have increased our headcount within the business by 18 per cent. This growth has been supported by the launch of the Hamptons Academy. Attracting the best talent is an absolute priority for our business and the Academy has added another string to our bow in delivering against this.”

The initial phase and first intake of the Hamptons Academy has been a huge success, already placing six individuals in both Sales and Lettings roles in branches throughout our network.
