Premium UK and international residential estate agency Hamptons International has announced an official corporate partnership with the UK’s leading cancer charity, Cancer Research UK.
To help reach its corporate target of raising £100k for Cancer Research UK by the end of 2013, Hamptons International’s Southern Region has organised a 100km bike ride on Thursday July 18th. The 100km course will interlink all of the region’s six branches (Winchester, Alton, Liphook, Haslemere, Farnham and Fleet).
With a start time of 9am, the Hamptons International team will begin their journey at the business’s Winchester branch (72 High Street, Hampshire, SO23 9DA), the cyclists will then travel to Alton, Liphook, Haslemere, Farnham and will finally cross the finish line at the estimated time of 4pm at Hamptons Fleet branch (171-173 Fleet Road, Hampshire GU51 3PD). The team of 13 Hamptons cyclists are aiming for an average minimum speed of 15mph/24kph throughout the day and have a fundraising target of £1,000.
Michael Walker, Regional Director of Hamptons International’s Southern Regions says: “We’re really excited to be setting ourselves this challenge, it will be a great day and overall a fantastic opportunity to raise as much money as possible for our chosen charity, Cancer Research UK!
Our Hamptons International team of cyclists riding the 100km will be joined by other staff members throughout the day as they take on shorter legs of the journey to join in the fun and boost the team’s morale.
We encourage local supporters in any of the Hampshire and Surrey towns to head down to their local Hamptons International branch and join in the festivities! It will be fantastic to see everyone out in force cheering the Hamptons team along their way whilst raising lots of money for this fantastic cause.”
