Gold Again! Hamptons International Awarded Best Large Agency For Second Consecutive Year
Hamptons International took home Gold for Best Large Agency for the second consecutive year at the Estate Agency of the Year Awards in association with the Sunday Times and The Times, held at The Lancaster London Hotel on Friday 6 December.
The event is recognised as one of the most prestigious events in the industry calendar and attracted agents from across the country. It was once again supported by The Sunday Times and The Times, with the winners presented with their awards by television presenter, Penny Smith.
Awarding Hamptons International with Gold for Best Large Agency for the second year in a row, the judges commented: “Not only has the team at Hamptons maintained their already high standards, but there was also clear evidence that they have actively sought to improve on them throughout 2013… This year has seen the launch of the Hamptons Academy which was set up to attract energetic people of the right calibre from other industries… There is a generous and thoughtful approach to CSR… A clear example of a strong network of people who collaborate to get results.”
Several of Hamptons International’s employees also received the highest of industry accolades. Grant Bates and Daniel O’Brien, both from Hamptons International’s Islington office, were crowned Best Negotiator and Best Valuer respectively. Of Grant Bates, the judges pointed out “Focusing less on ‘selling’ and more on providing a proactive end-to-end service of which the sale is the final piece of the puzzle, Grant is proving himself to be an invaluable member of the Hamptons team.” Of Daniel O’Brien, the judges said: “Daniel… is a force to be reckoned with… Operating in a highly competitive patch, Daniel has worked hard to build a collaborative environment with a culture of sharing ideas… Both buyers and vendors can rest assured they are in safe hands.”
Sarah McKinnon from Hamptons International’s Cheltenham office was highly commended in the Best Manager category and Alec Fry from Winchester and Leon Stone from Tower Bridge were shortlisted in the Best Valuer and Best Manager categories.
