Leading residential agent Hamptons International was delighted to be a sponsor at the Magic Millions Festival of British Eventing last weekend (3.5 August) in its 15th year of supporting the annual horse trials.

Taking place at Gatcombe Park, home of HRH The Princess Royal, guests enjoyed a VIP lunch at which clients and friends alike were in attendance. Kicking proceedings off, Peter Phillips shared his unique insight into the course before Harry Meade – one of Britain’s leading event riders and longtime friend of Hamptons International – gave an informative update on the eventing world. Continuing much loved tradition, Harry later led a cross country course walk where guests were given an expert glimpse into the skills and techniques used to tackle the championship jumps and fences.

All in all the festival hosted five championships - the Magic Millions British Open CIC3*, the Smith & Williamson British Intermediate Championship, the Dodson & Horrell British Novice Championship, the TopSpec Challenge for The Corinthian Cup and the RoR/NTF Retrained Racehorse Event Championship. Also on offer were the food and shopping village, which made for a great family day out.

Andrew Marshall, Senior Regional Sales Director at Hamptons International comments: “We are all thrilled at the success of this year’s Festival of British Eventing at Gatcombe Park. Over the course of our fifteen years of sponsorship, we have taken great pleasure in playing host to much valued clients, meeting new ones and engaging with both the local and equestrian communities. Gatcombe continues to be a key highlight in our calendar and this weekend was our most special yet.”
