Abbey Area, Abbey Road, NW6
The development consultancy team previously advised the London Borough of Camden on their development proposals for Phase 1 of the Abbey Road Regeneration Project, NW6. The proposed indicative scheme for Phase 1 comprised of six aligned blocks of residential apartments located between Belsize Road and the railway line to provide a total of 140 apartments. Our scope of advice ranged from reporting on the market and local competition through to providing a detailed critique of the schemes design on a floor by floor and unit by unit basis, to ensure the product being delivered is appropriate for the target market and price point.
Tufton Street, SW1
Hamptons advised a joint venture consortium of Legal & General and Wrenbridge in the design of a small (22 units) but niche office to residential conversion scheme just off the Horseferry Road in Westminster. A planning application was submitted for change of use from offices to residential and our role was to feed market information into the project team; provide guidance on achieving the optimal mix; to ensure the design of the units meets the demand of the local target market; and to ensure maximum revenues are driven from the project. We have also advised on a suitable marketing strategy, exploring various routes to market, which include both domestic and international (Asia) sales.
