Surrey is a really popular location for London commuters with families looking to move out for a little more space. The towns in Surrey offer the benefit of living in the country, whilst offering easy access to the capital.

Being Surreys biggest town, Guildford a bustling market town boasts a university, a beautiful cathedral and has the River Wey flowing through its centre. Guildfords high street is packed with a range of independent and chain shops, restaurants and bars, and at the weekend is a great place to while away a few hours. Alternatively if you prefer to spend time in the great outdoors, there are some fantastic walks that start right from the centre of Guildford, taking you along the River Wey and to some fantastic viewpoints.

Epsom famous for the Derby and the Oak Races is another market town in Surrey, perfect for families with good schools and plenty of family friendly activities. Train links to the capital make Epsom a great commuter town, with direct trains to Waterloo and Victoria in under 50 minutes.
