A guide to...Berkshire

Berkshire’s most iconic towns, Windsor, Ascot and Sunningdale, all sit within the county’s golden triangle. The transport links are outstanding, with mainline trains to London in under an hour. And the motorway links are excellent too, with easy access to major motorway networks including the M4, M25 and M40


A delightful town surrounding the famous Windsor Castle - the largest inhabited castle in the world. Windsor is also surrounded by The Great Park, owned by the crown and providing public access to 4500 aces of wonderful grounds. The town is popular with both commuters to London and corporate tenants working within the nearby commercial centres of Slough, Reading and Uxbridge.

Sunningdale is another jewel in Berkshire’s crown. A large village in the far south-west corner of this popular county, it is characterised by the variety of ultra-prime property and assortment of up-market boutiques and restaurants. Sunningdale's location is one of the reasons why people flock to live in the area, short commute times are a real advantage for those that work in the city but don't necessarily want to live there. As you'd expect from any commuter town, Sunningdale enjoys fantastic transport links with central London.
