Built in 1929, Corries is an attractive ‘Arts and Crafts’ detached country house set in an outstanding elevated location with far reaching views over the surround countryside. The village provides for day to day needs with local shops, a church, public house and a primary school with a greater choice of shopping available at Farnham, Haslemere and the county town of Guildford.
Communications are excellent with the A3 approximately 3.9 miles drive providing good access to the M27, M25,
A331/M3 and the national motorway network as well as Heathrow, Gatwick and Southampton airports. Mainline stations can be found at Farnham (from 53 minutes),Haslemere (from 52 minutes) and Guildford ( from 34 minutes) providing a regular train service to London Waterloo.
There is an excellent choice of schools in the area including Edgeborough, Frensham Heights, Charterhouse, Priorsfield and St. Catherine’s at Bramley. There are wonderful opportunities for walking, riding and cycling and much of the nearby countryside belongs to The National Trust including Frensham Common and Great Pond, The Devil’s Punchbowl and the ‘Devil’s Jumps’
