Hill Green is a most picturesque hamlet situated in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty near the Ridgeway on the Oxfordshire South Downs and being midway between Wantage and Newbury and just 3 miles North West of junction 13 of the M4. Hill Green is close to the larger village of Peasemore which has a church and a noted public house, The Fox and Hounds, as well as having an active village hall community and a new cricket pavilion. Newbury is about 7 miles away and offers excellent shopping including the new Parkway mall, renowned historic theatre The Watermill and its own cinema, a choice of restaurants and the Kennet and Avon canal runs through the heart of the town. Railway stations can be found at Didcot Parkway or Newbury with easy links to London.
