Recreational opportunities within reach include golf at a number of local clubs, including Cowdray Park, which is also a major centre for polo. The Goodwood estate offers horse and motor racing, a golf and leisure club and flying from the airfield there. There is sailing at Chichester Harbour. In addition, the surrounding, magnificent countryside offers excellent walking, cycling and riding.
