Monkton Deverill is a small pretty rural village set in the Deverill Valley, part of the West Wiltshire Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The River Deverill is a chalk stream that meanders through lovely rolling countryside before becoming the River Wylye at Crockerton.
