10% off our management fees - Terms and Conditions
1. The 10% off our charge management discount promotion (the “Promotion”) is offered by Hamptons, a trading name of Countrywide Estate Agents Limited, whose registered number is 00789476 and whose registered address is Cumbria House, 16-20 Hockliffe Street, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, United Kingdom, LU7 1GN ( “Hamptons”).
2. The “Discount” means 10% off our charge management services commission for 1 month, normally payable by the Eligible Customer, subject to availability and contract. For the avoidance of doubt, the Eligible Customer’s first instalment of management service commission fees under a Relevant Agreement shall be reduced by 10% of the standard monthly rate for the first month of the new managed instruction only. All other fees included in the Hamptons’ Standard Lettings Terms of Engagement shall remain payable.
For example, should the Eligible Customer enter into a Relevant Agreement to claim the Discount on a property, which has not previously been let or managed by Hamptons and agree to a minimum of a 12 month property management term, then, the first months' management service commission fees payable by the Eligible Customer shall be reduced by 10%. Thereafter, the Eligible Customer shall pay the full monthly management fee value set out in the Relevant Agreement.
3. The Promotion is available to eligible customers only. An “Eligible Customer” means a landlord that is not a client of Hamptons at the commencement of the Promotional Period, who is aged 18 years or older and wishes to enter into a property management agreement with Hamptons. An Eligible Customer excludes employees of Hamptons, their families, associates and any other persons who are in any way connected to the Promotion. Proof of age and identity may be required.
4. Eligible Customers may claim the Discount by signing a property management agreement to instruct Hamptons to manage a property which commences during the period between 00:00 on 16th April 2024 and 23:59 on 31st May 2024 (inclusive) (the “Promotional Period”).
5. The Discount will apply to the first months’ management fees in respect of a management agreement that commences during the Promotional Period only (a “Relevant Agreement”). The Discount will be applied to the first months’ management commission fees for a property that falls due after signature of the Relevant Agreement, with full property management service commission fees due monthly thereafter at the rates specific in the Relevant Agreement.
6. Participating Landlords
The Discount is available to Eligible Customers, subject to the property not having been let or managed previously by Hamptons and always at Hamptons’ discretion.
7. Duration of offer
The Promotion will run during the Promotional Period and will terminate automatically at 23:59 hours on 31st May 2024.
8. Conditions
In addition to the above, the Discount is subject to the following conditions:
· A Relevant Agreement is signed by the Eligible Customer and Hamptons no later than 31st May 2024;
· The terms of this Promotion shall vary the terms of our Landlords’ Guide to Services and Charges where appropriate. In the event of any conflict between this Promotion and the Landlords’ Guide to Services and Charges, the terms of this Promotion shall prevail.
9. The Discount is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. The cash value of the Discount is 0.00001p.
10. Hamptons reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the Promotion without notice where it becomes necessary to do so. Properties that have already been instructed are not included within the Promotion.
11. Events may occur that render the Promotion and applying the Discount impossible due to reasons beyond the control of Hamptons and accordingly Hamptons may at its absolute discretion vary or amend the promotion and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to Hamptons as a result thereof.
12. The Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount.
13. These Terms and Conditions will be governed by English Law and customers submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
