About this branch

Branch History

The Cirencester office of Hamptons International is well regarded within the town, having occupied a prominent and high profile location for many years and is staffed by local individuals with immense experience in the property market. More recently, a lettings operation has been added within the office, made possible by the acquisition of a local lettings business and this has expanded the already wide range of property services on offer. Our friendly and approachable sales and lettings teams are always on hand to offer a bespoke and reliable local service backed by the strength and breadth of the Hamptons International network.

There is an excellent local road infrastructure with the A419 dual carriageway offering quick access to both the M4 and M5 motorways. The Fosse Way offers a direct route to the heart of the North Cotswolds and there are also good East/West connections to nearby Tetbury and Fairford. Kemble mainline rail station approximately 4 miles away offers a frequent service to London (Paddington) in approx. 90 minutes with further improvements due to the service in the next few years. The Area

Known as ‘The Queen of the Cotswolds’ Cirencester is the quintessential Cotswold market town set around a thriving market place and offering a plethora of highly regarded eating establishments and bespoke shops with backing from national retailers. With Roman origins, the town sits at the confluence of two major Roman routes i.e the Fosse Way and Ermin Street and this has ensured the town’s prominence ever since. Much evidence of the Roman occupation is still to be found all around. Being the gateway to the Cotswold Hills, the town is well placed to access some of the prettiest settlements in England such as Bibury, Bourton on the Water and the string of villages along the Coln valley including Chedworth, Ablington and Winson. Whilst the high Wolds are found to the North, West and East, to the South the increasingly popular Cotswold Water Park provides a great range of water sports and leisure facilities. There is also an exceptional choice of both private and state schools within the area making this an excellent area for growing families.

Property Available

As may be expected, there is a choice of traditional Cotswold stone housing to be found, ranging from modest cottages to splendid country houses, with demand quite frequently outstripping supply. Fortunately, as this is a prosperous area, there is also a huge choice of more contemporary housing stock ranging from flats through to larger and more individual detached homes thus ensuring a wide choice of quality housing for all.
