About this branch

The Area

Situated close to the South Downs and the South Coast, the Cathedral City is a popular location for all ages. There is a host of cultural and leisure pursuits including the renowned Festival Theatre, Pallant House Gallery and the famous Goodwood Estate which has a golf and leisure club along with horse racing and motor events.

There are several sailing villages including Itchenor and Bosham along with Chichester Harbour. There are also a good selection of state and independent schools within the City and surrounding areas. The mainline station has services along the coast and direct to London Victoria via Gatwick airport.

Chichester is a cathedral city found in West Sussex - the centrepiece of the city is the fantastic 11th Century Chichester cathedral. Aside from the cathedral, other attractions in the city include the Chichester Festival Theatre - the scene of many top plays and shows over the years. It's home to the famous Goodwood circuit - a real favourite with motor racing fans.

Chichester isn't just a historic city; it's also a very well connected city. The proximity to the south coast means that it's easy to escape for long weekends of sunshine during the summertime. It's also close to London too - a truly global city that's home to countless businesses and employment opportunities. Those living in Chichester can benefit from the best of both worlds: The city and the seaside.

Transport links are strong: it's possible to get to London's two major airports quickly - you can get to Gatwick in a little over an hour by road, and you can travel to Heathrow in two hours by road. Chichester is also well connected by bus and train.

Chichester quite literally has everything - from its favourable location near the south coast you can travel to London in just an hour or so - it's the ideal place for commuters and families to live.
