About Seychelles

Seychelles is an island country comprising 115 islands, only a handful of which are inhabited, in the Indian Ocean. It is situated east of mainland Africa. Mahé is the largest island and is home to the nation's capital, Victoria, accommodating 90 per cent of the country's population. The country's economy depends heavily on a fishing industry and up-market tourism, where the fine beaches and turquoise seas are amongst the main attractions.

The Climate in Seychelles

The Seychelles climate is tropical and has little seasonal variation. Temperatures on Mahé rarely rise above 29 degrees Celsius or drop below 24 degrees Celsius, making it an extremely attractive second home destination.
