How do I enter?

Simply quote “Gatcombe” when you instruct us to sell your property, before October 31st 2008 to be automatically entered into the exclusive prize draw. The winner will be randomly selected and notified.

Terms & Conditions:

a) The competition is open to all UK and Isle of Man residents aged 18 years old or over, except employees of Hamptons Estates Limited (“Hamptons”), Emaar Properties (and employees of any of their group companies) and their families or any other person(s) connected to the competition.

b) The winner of the competition is responsible for arranging and paying for their own travel insurance and medical insurance policies as they see fit. Hamptons has no liability for any claims in relation to personal injury or any other claims resulting out of the prize.

c) To enter the competition, the entrant must instruct Hamptons to sell his or her property on a sole agency basis and the property should remain actively on the market with Hamptons for 6 months or sold within this timeframe. The entrant must own the property they register with Hamptons and evidence of this will be required to validate entry into the competition. The guide price for the property must be over £250,000 and should be no more than 10% above the price recommended by Hamptons. Only one entry per property placed with Hamptons will be allowed. The entrant must agree to erect a For Sales board at the property and promote the property on Hamptons’ website and other property related portals. No extra-ordinary marketing expenses will be covered by Hamptons.

d) The prize can be taken between 01 January and 30 June 2009 subject to availability. Hamptons will try to accommodate date preferences but cannot guarantee specific dates. The winner must give six weeks notice prior to booking the holiday. The prize includes return economy flights for two and seven nights’ accommodation in a luxury self-catering apartment. It also includes a voucher for a desert hack and a tour of the stables at the Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club. All other expenses will need to be covered by the winner. The prize is for the winner and one guest only.

e) This competition is open until 31 October 2008. Properties placed on the market after 31st October 2008 will not be entered into the competition. Hamptons take no responsibility for delayed, mislaid, lost, illegible, incomplete or damaged entries. The winner will be the first entry drawn after the closing date of 31st October 2008. The judges’ decision is final. Winners will be notified within 14 days of the closing date. f) This prize is non-transferable and cash alternatives are not available. Any breach of the rules by the entrant will void their entry. Hamptons reserves the right at any time to cancel, modify or supersede the competition (including the prize) if, in our sole discretion, a competition is not capable of being conducted as specified. Hamptons will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from the winner’s (or their guests) prizes.

g) Hamptons reserves the right to name the winner of the competition and their property in subsequent related press releases.

h) The Competition and Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
