DIRECTIONS
All areas of Lake Como may be reached with or without a car
using the extremely functional and characteristic ferry, boat and
high speed hydrofoil services. From Varenna the passenger and
Car Ferry reaches Menaggio in 15 minutes and Bellagio in ten.
The train station in Bellano allows easy access to Lecco, Bergamo
(City and the Airport), Milan & Switzerland. As a note the other
(western) shore is not serviced by a train line.
The lakeside (Lago di Lugano) city of Lugano in Switzerland is a
ten minute ferry ride across the lake then only a further 30 mins by
car, with its cosmopolitan shopping, concerts, restaurants and
Cafe squares.
