November 2008 – Hamptons International, one of the UK’s leading residential agents has today announced the official launch of its new Country House head office in Guildford, Surrey. The opening of the new office follows a strengthening of the department and its portfolio, and is designed to help meet the division’s expansion plans over the next few years.
The Hamptons’ Country House head office will be located in new and refurbished premises on Chertsey Street, adjacent to the company’s sales and lettings operation.
John Denney, Director of Country Houses for Hamptons International, will be based in the head office and direct a large team of ten residential agents, managing the needs of clients looking to buy or sell at the top end of the market.
Hamptons’ Country House department is specially-tailored to assist clients who are looking to buy or sell properties for £1million pounds or more. The department has offices across the UK and provides exceptional service and advice.
“With decades of experience amongst the Country House team, there is no lack of understanding of this type of market or the steps that need to be taken to stimulate interest and a successful sale for a property”, John Denney commented.
“We have been dedicated to successfully assisting clients with the buying and selling of top end property for over xx years and the opening of the new Country House head office will ensure we provide our clients with an even stronger service,” continued Denney.
Denney concludes, “This year has certainly been challenging for the property market. However, the picture is not all bleak and certain areas remain buoyant. Country estates with land, for example, continue to be in demand. In addition, 2009 will see renewed optimism – with many coming out of the rental system and looking to buy.”
The opening of the Country House head office follows the announcement of several innovative new initiatives from Hamptons International such as “The Hamptons Exchange”, a market-leading solution designed to help create chains and assist sellers struggling to move in the current property market.
In addition, next spring, there are exciting plans to take a selection of the finest UK properties available to the lucrative markets of Dubai and Abu Dhabi and host further highly successful Country Property Open Evenings. In times that are undoubtedly challenging, Hamptons International continues to innovate and assist the market as much as possible.
If you are considering moving or would like some advice on the property market, please do not hesitate to call John Denney and his team on 01483 572864.
