Hamptons International, one of the UK’s premier international residential agencies and a subsidiary of Emaar Properties, has today announced the growth of its dedicated Business Development team to help drive the company’s strategic expansion plan across the UK.
Hamptons International has increased its residential branch network to over 75 offices in the last few months and is firmly on-target to meet its aim of growing the network to 100 offices by 2010. A key part of this will be expansion into the North of England, with particular focus on key regions such as Yorkshire and Cheshire.
The Hamptons International Business Development team, led by Gary Bostock - Business Development Director has opened eight offices across the UK since March 2007 consisting of Epsom, Fleet, Haywards Heath, St Albans, Wokingham, Islington, Brighton and Hove. These offices have helped to cement Hamptons International’s leading position in the South.
The Team will now also be focusing on the North of England, with the appointment of Peter Everett, as the new Associate Director - Business Development (North). Peter will play a central part in the team, identifying key expansion opportunities for Hamptons International and developing a strong strategy to ensure the company meets its aggressive business plans.
Peter has nearly 25 years experience in the property sector; working as an Area Sales Director for GA Property Services and carrying out Senior Head Office roles for Your Move. Peter’s expertise includes driving profitability, identifying growth opportunities and replicating brand success in new areas.
Hamptons International’s Development & Investment business has its Northern head office in Manchester and is currently involved with a number of exciting developments in the region including Hungate – contemporary new apartments close to York city centre; Hulme – one of the biggest regeneration projects in Manchester; and Queensbury – a number of traditional York stone homes.
The Business Development team is also carrying out a major refurbishment programme across the Hamptons network, with a stylish new look rolled-out to seven branches so far, including Bristol, Stroud, Fulham, Islington, Kensington and Pimlico.
Mark Anderson, MD – UK Residential, Hamptons International comments, “Eighteen months ago we had 60 branches, now Hamptons International has over 75. These have been predominantly cold starts, although some have been acquisitions – such as Brighton and Hove. We’re planning 100 branches by 2010 and are firmly on target. The North of England will form an important part of this growth strategy and presents excellent opportunities. Our aim is to replicate our success in the South and build a strong network across the Country – offering the very best residential agency service to customers.”
Anderson concludes, “Hamptons International has a long-term parent with Emaar and an agreed strategy. We are committed to building upon the company’s current success and driving the brand forward to ensure Hamptons becomes the most valuable residential brand in the UK.”
