Residential Research Analyst

Hamptons International is seeking a suitable candidate to fill the role of Residential Research Analyst. This role will report to the Head of Research and will be based at the company’s headquarters, 32 Grosvenor Square, London, W1K 2HJ.

Hamptons International Research provides full-service research and consultancy support to the business and its clients. In addition to regular monthly and quarterly market commentary, the team offers a bespoke research capability to address the residential market issues that matter most to our clients, either in the UK or across our International offices.

The Research team seeks to establish a market-leading research capability, analysing current and future issues that impact on the UK residential market. The Research Analyst will take a key role in identifying and delivering relevant analysis and will work closely with Hamptons International colleagues, notably the Public Relations team, to ensure the research is communicated in an effective way to clients and media outlets.


Requirements for this role are as follows:  

  • The successful candidate will be degree-educated, preferably in an economics or property-related discipline.
  • Minimum work experience of three years; previous experience in a research role would be considered an asset but is not essential.
  • Preference would be given to candidates who can demonstrate an understanding of current affairs and their impact on the housing market.
  • Media/ journalist background would be considered where experience has included an analytical component.
  • Strong writing skills are essential.
  • Basic Microsoft Office suite skills are essential.
