Teddington is an affluent town to the South West of London in the borough of Richmond upon Thames, where it lies between Bushy Park and the River Thames. Teddington’s popular High Street boasts a number of smart shops and trendy restaurants and bars whilst the surrounding roads provide a large variety of family homes and cottages. The area is renowned for excellent local schools (both state and private) which help to attract young families moving out of the city who can also enjoy the open spaces and friendly community on offer, combined with excellent transport links.
Royal Bushy Park is the second largest of London’s Royal parks providing over 1,100 acres of open space making it popular with families, cyclists, riders and runners alike. Bordering Teddington are several smaller towns and villages, such as Hampton Wick, Hampton Hill, Strawberry Hill and Hampton, offering more outstanding properties and the larger shopping centres of Richmond and Kingston.
