Grittenham is a rural community in North Wiltshire lying to the south of the village of Brinkworth and close to the market town of Royal Wootton Bassett. The regional centre of Swindon provides comprehensive educational, shopping and business facilities plus a main line railway station (London Paddington 57 minutes). There is good motorway access at either Junctions 16 or 17 of the M4. There are numerous sporting and recreational opportunities and the local area has numerous footpaths and bridleways popular with horse riders and walkers alike.
